The project is located in the town of Bedlington on the high street which has a strong community and good access to transport links, local amenities, shops and commercial units. The design of Elliott House is for 12 number 1 bedroom self-contained flats within a 4 storey development. The development accommodates a resident’s lounge, external terrace and garden area, onsite parking, lift access to all floors and is fully DDA compliant.

J. & W. Lowry purchased the site and developed the bespoke design for independent supported living, obtaining planning permission in 2019. Demolition of the existing buildings was completed in 2019. Prior to constructing the development we have continued working with the local authority and care commissioner to develop the design. We re-submitted a full planning application in October 2021 and received full planning permission in January 2022.
